Video: Easter Date Controversy

Happy Easter everyone! Welcome to Holy Week. I wanted to take a brief look at two questions about Easter that seem to come to the surface this time of year: Should Christians celebrate Easter? And if so, what date should it be observed? These questions typically come from our friends in the world of Torahism (also known as the Hebrew Roots Movement or the Return-to-Torah Movement.) These are folks who want to follow Jesus but also believe we should still be keeping the Law of Moses. And they can have a tough time with Easter as they struggle with how to properly honor the Jewish roots of the Christian faith. So I made a short video to try and offer a little clarity on these two questions. (I’ve also written an in-depth article on the topic.) Enjoy.
