I've been providing commercial music and audio production services for film, TV, radio, games, bands, and artists since 1996. I am based in Nashville, TN and have access to an amazing array of singers and musicians. I primarily work in orchestral composition and arranging, and as a guitarist. You'll find lots of samples of my work here, along with many other projects I've worked on from jingles to world music CDs.

Projects & News

Deb & I traveled to Hungary and Norway in May/June 2019 on a music mission trip, playing 14 concerts in 17 days. We played jazz in Hungary with the Metro Big Band, and played our own material in Norway as a duo, anbd occasionally being joined by some very talewnted Norwegian musicians. It was an amazing, grueling, adventure-filled trip that, in the end, was so rewarding. Learn more about the trip →

Folk: TroI produced the sophomore album from the Norwegian band FOLK, providing all the guitar work and programming on the tracks. Founders Odd Tore and Kristina Naglestad are very talented musicians and songwriters and it was a huge honor to be part of this project!

I've been playing lead guitar with John Schlitt & John Elefante individually, and for their Voices of Rock shows. We're playing songs from their days with Kansas, Head East, Petra, and Mastedon - plus a few other fun surprises. Watch for our upcoming shows in TN, KY, FL, CA and MI. In other news I'm completely re-writing my latest original orchestral piece called The Jericho Suite and I'm performing in my 5th season as a member of the Nashville Praise Symphony. Here's a pic with me and Candy Carson, wife of 2016 Republican Presidential candidate Ben Carson. She sat in with Orchestra at our concert at the Nashville Rescue Mission on December 14, 2015.

WHEN I SURVEY...
I wrote a cinematic, orchestral arrangement of the hymn "When I Survey The Wondrous Cross" which debuted at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center, performed by the Nashville Praise Symphony. They went on to play the piece as part of their regular season program and ended up recording it as part of their CD "How Great Is Our God". Below is a video clip of the brass section recording the ending. (Tracked at historic RCA Studios in Nashville, TN.)

PIXAR MEETS MEDICAL ANIMATION
I scored (and did all the sound design) for the three animated videos shown below. Instead of showing pre-existing client work in their medical video reels, the amazing guys at Ghost Productions think it's a lot more fun to make character animations (a la Pixar) where they break everyone's bones then surgically repair them.
